Fishmeal Information Network

A reliable information resource for the sustainability of fishmeal

The "feed conversion figures for salmon suggest that it is more efficient to consume salmon derived from aquaculture than wild caught fish." 1

Up-to-date information and research on the use of fishmeal can be found at the Fishmeal Information Network (FIN).

FIN is an information resource and a source of contacts for fishmeal, its supply chain and its role in the nutrition of farm livestock.

FIN aims to present fact-based information, independent evidence and respected expert opinion on fishmeal and its use. It recognises the imperatives of safety in the food chain, healthy diets, animal welfare and protection of the environment.
